My ideal client is someone who is desiring to actively participate in therapy. Your issues, needs, and goals can be discussed in session, so you have direction during the therapeutic process. You might not know what you want or why, and that is okay. All you have to do is show up & participate. Your sessions are your time to discover the answers to those questions & hopefully piece together information to help your present-day self.

I have been working in therapy for the past few years and I love what I do! I have worked in a substance abuse clinic, given evaluations/assessments, been a school-based therapist, and provided individual therapy in a private and medical clinic setting. I utilize CBT and DBT modalities with training in EMDR. I am a solution/client-focused therapist & coach.

Therapists go to therapy too to help them practice self-care. Same thing for you.
