Aloha, My name is Georgianne Nacionales, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Hilo, Hawaii. I deliver therapeutic services to clients statewide via telehealth, providing therapy services to clients of all ages but primarily working with adults while specializing in stress, anxiety, and processing family and relationship issues. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), with some Mindfulness Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy tactics to help my clients progress and start feeling better.
I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for younger adults who may be dealing with the challenges of life transitions and social pressures. This often takes the form of anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship and family issues.
My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each individual client I work with. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, as both modalities help the client and me to build a shared understanding of their current reality and allow us to work together to chart a path forward.
