Throughout my years of practice, I have worked in hospital, community mental health, and college counseling settings as a diagnostician, group, couples, and individual therapist. And during this time I have developed my specialty working with LGBTQIA & POC communities as well as trauma exposed populations and people struggling with grief, identity development, family rejection, sexual dysfunction, commutation difficulties, and relationship difficulties.

Our office hours are Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM and Saturdays 1I:00 AM - 5:00 PM. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia. I'm conveniently located within 20 minutes of downtown Chattanooga and Hamilton Place. Karlyn has worked in the counseling field for several years working with clients from various backgrounds and walks of life. She graduated from the University of Florida with an Education Specialist degree in mental health counseling before moving to the Atlanta area. Life transitions are challenging whether it is navigating high school, adjusting to a child growing up, or realizing you are not where you expected at this point in life. My experience has been with people who have turned to alcohol, drugs, food, sex, or self-injury to cope with various life events. Others have shut down in the form of depression or paralyzing anxiety. Essentially the ways of handling life’s stressors are no longer effective, and in these moments we need help. I enjoy working with people who have a desire to learn how to better navigate their transition.

Aphroditise Edge is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia who has been practicing since 2016. She obtained her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health at Troy State University and her Undergraduate degree in Psychology from Columbus State University in Georgia. Aphroditise can help a client with their mental health issues with being understanding their individual differences. Dr. Cindy Edins is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Educational Psychologist. She holds a Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling as well as a PhD in Educational Psychology. Dr. Cindy has over 20 years of experience counseling and 12 years of teaching psychology courses at local colleges/universities. Dr. Cindy has advanced training through the Beck Initiative for Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy for which she holds a current certification. She is also certified as a substance abuse counselor through the 7-Challenges program which supports the clients in making healthy decisions about their drug and/or alcohol choices.

Life presents many challenges which can cause pain, self-doubt, and leave you feeling stuck. Sometimes these challenges seem insurmountable and the path forward unclear. I am here to help you overcome these challenges so that you can live your best life.

Keith has over 20 years of clinical experience across a variety of settings including structured outpatient programs, private practice, and crisis intervention. He has directed treatment programs in both the public and private sectors and taught graduate level counseling at Augusta State University. Keith works with adults and adolescents in the areas of anxiety and mood disorders, substance abuse, and trauma. He emphasizes a holistic approach to treatment which focuses on evidence-based therapies, mindfulness strategies, and attention to physical and emotional well-being.

Living in this world we experience a lot of adversity. And sometimes those experiences are traumatic and damaging. We develop a deep sense of shame and feel defective. I specialize in coming along side people to help resolve the trauma and their deep sense of shame. My heart's desire is to lead my clients to a life that is whole and abundant, where they can experience deep and fulfilling relationships with themselves and those they love.

This may cause us to feel stuck and wondering why we can't do the things that we know, think, and feel would be helpful? Unhealthy coping behaviors may cause a person to feel stuck and wonder why they aren't progressing. Unfortunately, we continue to use these skills in ways that are no longer beneficial and eventually cause harm to our functioning.
