I became a therapist because I have always been deeply interested in understanding people and helping them navigate their inner worlds. From a young age, I was drawn to conversations about feelings, motivations and personal growth. I found myself naturally inclined to listen and provide support to friends and family during their challenging times and it was through these experiences that I realized how fulfilling it was to make a positive impact on someone's life.
I am empathetic and supportive. I practice active listening with a non-judgmental approach. I use clear and concise collaborative communication with the goal of empowering individuals to gain authorship if their lives.
I offer a warm welcoming environment which will allow time to explore past and current issues. I will explain the therapeutic process and answer any questions regarding my role as a therapist, and the client's role. We discuss the frequency of visits and set clear expectations to demystify the process.
