I use a variety of treatment approaches developed over 50 years of clinical practice, with extensive study of hypnotic approaches to psychotherapy. I call my approach hypnotic psychotherapy. Clinical hypnosis is an invaluable aid for understanding my clients and helping theme master new cognitive, emotional, and behavioral skills. I promise to help you work on your problems in a comfortable atmosphere of respect, competence, and collaboration.
Hypnotic psychotherapy is the term I like to use for the therapy I offer. One can call it hypnotherapy, but I prefer not to use that label since many healthcare professionals correctly believe hypnosis is not a specific therapy. Instead, I consider it a resource that helps increase the power of many different approaches to the mind and body.
