I have over 38 years of treating individuals with Mental Health, Substance Abuse disorders and Developmental Disorders. My experience includes working with adults, adolescents and children in the areas of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma and stress related disorders, substance related and addictive related disorders etc. The road to a healthier life is paved with change and growth."
My experience has been in providing mental health services in public and private sector venues. Areas of specialized training include thorough diagnostic assessment, cognitive behavioral therapies, dialectical behavioral therapies etc. Also specialize in work with couples of all kinds, depression and anxiety disorders, ADHD, anger management etc.
Due to our histories, backgrounds, and genetics we become who we are. Often this may lead us to dysfunctional habits or behaviors that cause distress in our lives. I use a variety of therapies to address changes we need to make in thinking, managing emotions and behavior to reduce distress in ourselves and how we relate to others.
