I was a writer and editor before I became a psychotherapist, and I deeply understand the tensions created by life-stage transitions, love, creative blocks, school/career issues, major medical diagnosis, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression and difficulties within family systems. I am also trained to diagnose and treat clinical psychiatric disorders.
I counsel people with diverse needs, as well as pre-teens, teens (and their parents). I am experienced working with people enduring chronic illness and pain.
