Hey! I’m Genevieve. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and Colorado. I went to FSU (go Noles!) and I specialize in treating trauma/PTSD/Complex PTSD, anxiety, working with the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent community. In addition to talk therapy, I offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Through the use of skilled eye movements, I am able to treat clients struggling with acute, chronic or even C-PTSD trauma symptoms such as nightmares, flashbacks, memory lapses, numbness, hypervigilance, irritability, and self-destructive behaviors. This therapy aids clients in reducing the impact of trauma within 1-5 sessions.
I am a former military spouse and enjoy working with the military, veteran, and first responder community. I am a proud bisexual out therapist. Clients have described my approach to therapy as direct and empathetic. I will never force you to change (and realistically, I can't make you anyways.) I am here to remind you of the change you came for.
I like to take the time to get to know each client as we work together to create a plan that meets your needs. I firmly believe finding a therapist should be a simpler process than it is so I aim to remove the barriers that keep people from reaching out by responding quickly and using a simple billing/scheduling process.
