With over 5 years of clinical experience, my work focuses on meeting clients where they are at and providing a safe space for growth, acceptance, and healing. I have worked with children, family, and adults. I believe in being a supportive role in helping my clients reach their goals within their specific context. Often times, I see clients that wish to seek therapy to better themselves and grow their self-awareness in order to build skills to resolve the challenges they face. My belief is that clients can benefit from an unbiased perspective and I can provide this space for individuals to grow at their own pace.
I use an integrative approach to therapy that includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), client-centered therapy, and emotions focused therapy. Through these approaches, I provide a space to allow clients to be themselves so that I can meet them where they are at.
I am a Chinese American lifelong Chicago resident. I truly believe in the importance of honoring your story and helping you where you need it.
