Seeking Safety Group
This group is an evidenced-based treatment for PTSD, substance abuse, and other unsafe behaviors that stem from emotional dysregulation. With a primary emphasis on establishing safety, each week the group covers one of several topics that address coping skills relevant to these disorders. Some topics include but not limited to Grounding, Asking for Help, Compassion, Honesty, Healing from Anger and so more. Through this skill training, clients can better regulate and control their emotions and subsequent actions. Seeking Safety therapy is an evidence-based treatment that helps people with trauma, posttraumatic stress disorder, and substance misuse.
