I am most interested in working with people who are wanting to more fully be themselves, who are wanting to face their feelings without depression or excessive anxiety and being themselves creatively and within relationships. I enjoy helping people to develop the resources to regulate their emotions and to tolerate the inevitable discomfort that comes with growth.
My specialty is about focusing on the Self - how we feel about ourselves (self esteem and self confidence) and how we feel about ourselves in relationships with others.
My personal style is down to earth and interactive. I have a psychodynamic orientation but am also eclectic, and I have training in coaching techniques. I have experience in working with mood disorders as well as with persons who have learning disabilities and ADD issues.
