I work with adults struggling with varying levels of trauma, stemming from childhood or current relationships. I enjoy assisting young adults in their journey of discovering who they are, including clarifying their identity, whether that's sexual orientation or coming of age situations. I also work with people struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, Bipolar disorder, and relationship/family issues.
My style is warm, supportive, and non-judgmental. I meet you wherever you're starting at. I believe the most important thing about therapy is finding the right match in a therapist, one who makes you feel safe and understood. This is why I provide a free 15 minute phone consultation.
I've been trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy in which we explore how our early interactions influence our current relationships. I incorporate ideas from attachment theory, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, the neurobiological impacts of trauma on the body, and the subsequent somatic work.
