With all clients, I strive to build self-esteem, help you feel less alone, and recognize your worth and value. I specialize in working with body image and eating disorders, as well as recovering from traumatic or abusive relationships. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults. I also enjoy working with LGBTQ+ clients and have received training to address religious trauma from non-affirming Christian theologies. I provide individual, couples, and family counseling. I believe that showing up authentically is important and seek to build a genuine therapeutic relationship with each of my clients.
I aim to help you identify what you want to change in your life by noticing what patterns are no longer serving you, relationships that need tending to, and learning the different ways to take care of yourself. Together, we will acknowledge which systems have been harmful and ways that we can adapt and seek support.
