I provide psychotherapy for adults and adolescents in a warm, respectful environment. My primary goal is to guide you to a stronger sense of self and a place where you can feel at peace with yourself and those around you. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, women's issues, stress management, loss/grief, relationship issues (divorce/separation), effective parenting, and substance abuse recovery.
I have a master's in clinical social work (M.S.W.) from Washington University and a master's in clinical psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy (M.F.T.) from Pepperdine University. My breadth of experience includes hospice, child welfare, case management, inpatient substance abuse/medical detox, and outpatient mental health.
I accept Cal-optima/Medi-Cal, and United Healthcare (Optum/ Oscar Healthcare) at this time. I am out-of-network for other types of insurance. Peer-reviewed publications include: "A Comparison of Three Major Couple Approaches," The Therapist magazine, Dec 2015.
