Making the decision to seek out therapy is a courageous and transformational step toward positive change. I believe that therapy is for all, and that anyone can achieve recovery to restore emotional health and balance in their lives. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, family dynamics and self-esteem. I also help clients grappling with disordered eating, such as restricting food, compensatory behaviors and body acceptance. My style is trauma-informed, affirming and compassionate, and I try to make therapy a safe space to build new skills and strategies to achieve the fulfilling life you deserve.
My approach is highly tailored to your needs and truly meets you where you are. At times we may apply a psychodynamic approach to help you gain a deeper understanding of internal dynamics driving your challenges. Other times we’ll use behavioral or mindfulness strategies to break negative cycles and utilize your strengths to build healthier coping skills.
