My therapeutic orientation is empowerment based, solution-focused and follows an ecological model of treatment, working with the person as a whole complex being. My counseling style is integrative. I utilize psychodynamic and schema therapy approaches to reveal, recognize and release unhealthy patterns of thinking and coping. My overall philosophy in the treatment room, compassion and patience. We will work at a pace that is comfortable for you, while giving firm and gentle nudges when fear tries to paralyze.
