Guided by feminist and relational therapeutic practices, I work with you to uncover why, where, and who you are at this moment. In this process, I pay particular attention to the complexities of identities, nuances of relationships, and experiences of oppression that shape us all. Through psychodynamic exploration and a liberatory framework, my ultimate goal as your counselor is to empower you to empower yourself. My therapeutic practice is rooted in the understanding that you are the expert of your own experiences. I am here for you as you are, and am prepared to approach your needs with collaboration, flexibility, and compassion.
As a trauma-informed practitioner and Middle-Eastern woman, I am passionate about celebrating and promoting liberation and healing. Through my activism efforts I facilitate political education, community building, and the development and dissemination of intersectional feminist frameworks.
At Expansive Therapy, we believe that high quality therapy should be accessible to everyone. That's why we offer an out-of-network program for PPO and POS plans. We do all the leg work for you—we check your benefits, submit your claims, advocate for higher rates on your behalf, and once you reach your deductible, we lower your fee to a copay between $0-80.
