Whether you are new to therapy or have been through this journey before, looking for someone to talk to can be stressful and intimidating. I focus strongly on the therapeutic relationship and connecting with each client in order to create a comfortable, supportive, and encouraging environment that facilitates growth. I provide individual therapy for adults dealing with a wide variety of concerns, but most commonly focus on: anxiety, life stressors/transitions, self-esteem, relationship problems, trauma, and depression. I tailor my modalities to each client, but some include Boundary Setting, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Reframing.
Clients that work with me are typically seeking a nonjudgmental space to express their inner thoughts and feelings while developing healthy coping skills to effectively manage their emotional distress. My approach is geared towards helping individuals discover the root of what is bringing them to therapy through insight development and self-reflection.
If you are motivated to work together towards improving your quality of life with someone who is both compassionate and direct, I am available for in person sessions Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm in Queensbury! Virtual sessions on Fri. mornings as well. Please note 4pm slots are currently full and 3pm slots are limited, but contact me with any questions you have!
