I am a Bilingual (Spanish and English) Licensed Social Worker who strives to help others find healing. I specialize in trauma-focused therapeutic practices and Evidence-Based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), somatic therapy, and attachment-based therapy (ABT). In addition to trauma work, I specialize in treating a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment problems. I have experience working with survivors of domestic violence, anxiety, depression, and dissociative disorders.
I aim to provide a non-judgmental therapeutic space to process thoughts/feelings. I focus on helping others understand how trauma is stored in the body and how these sensations can affect their patterns of behavior. I also enjoy discussing generational trauma and the way our childhood can affect our current decisions.
So many of us had to learn from a young age to disregard our wants, desires, and needs. I hope that through our time together, you can discover who you are, what you like, and that you grow to love the person you have become.
