Hello! I'm Gabriela (also known as Gaby)! I graduated from Hunter College in New York with a B.A. in Psychology in 2011 and earned my Masters in Social Work from Sacred Heart University in 2023. During my studies, I worked as a Blended Case Manager, supporting individuals experiencing their first episodes of psychosis. Alongside this role, I also provided counseling to those with psychosis symptoms.
Since graduating, I have gained extensive experience in mental health, specializing in assisting young adults and adults with a range of challenges. These include depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, attention disorders, life transitions, relationship difficulties, adjustment problems, anger management, and coping strategies.
I approach therapy with compassion and empathy, tailoring my methods to each individual's needs and goals. I create a safe space for exploration and growth.
