I am an experienced psychotherapist who has the ability to successfully apply psychological theory and techniques to help people make desired and necessary changes in their lives. My primary objective, whether in dealing with couples, families, or individuals is to provide them with healthy guidance, support, and insight in order to eliminate self-defeating behaviors. I have been in practice for over 40 years and recently relocated from a very successful practice in South Georgia to be closer to home. I believe that psychological assessment can be the cornerstone of the therapeutic process. I have conducted assessments on children, adolescents and adults to help determine functioning and to drive treatment planning. I have experience in assessing disorders of attention-deficit/hyperactivity, behavioral and emotional functioning, cognitive or academic abilities (including learning disabilities), autism-spectrum, trauma impacts, and personality. My experience in these areas offers my clients a comprehensive evaluation with extensive recommendations for how to manage any diagnoses discovered throughout the evaluation process.

Humama Khan, PhD is a Georgia state licensed psychologist who specializes in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
