I am glad you decided to read my profile. My name is Diahann JohnBaptiste, and I am a licensed Professional Counselor based in Newnan, Georgia. I have over 10 years of direct clinical mental health counseling experience that includes Christian Counseling, and an additional 20 years of administrative experience working in the mental healthcare industry. I have worked in a variety of settings utilizing talk-based therapies to provide support to clients in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, learning differences, relational issues, life transitions, stressors, and everyday life decisions.

As humans, our natural inclination is to move away from pain. But at a certain point, we may find that the strategies that once protected us are causing us even more pain. Together we can find ways to break old cycles that are keeping you stuck in order for you to move into the wholeness you desire. Many times when healing feels impossible, it is only an indication that what we have tried so far will not suffice. Often this requires slowing down and trusting parts of ourselves that we have long ignored.

Imagine you grew up in a house filled with ghosts. Their presence was palpable and they inconsistently, yet consistently, came out to scare you. You worry they followed you out of your childhood and into your adult world because you just can't stop trying to find them before they get you first. You still see them sometimes, but you can't name them, and you fear no one else will believe you if you tell them they exist. Jasmine Jenkins is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia who has been practicing since 2019. She has a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Jasmine is a counselor who is here to help guide you in the direction that you seek to go in whether it involves depression, anxiety, anger management and trauma. She believes that counseling is a journey that you as the client and Jasmine as your therapist will travel down together so that you feel you are not in this alone. She utilizes techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, person center therapy and solution focused therapy.

My goal as a counselor is to help clients UNLEARN how to be their own worst enemies. Perhaps they're inflexible and always want things their way, leading to strained relationships with family and friends. Or they worry so much that it doesn't seem like they are fully living life anymore. Maybe their self esteem is so low, they've lost sight of what makes them a beautiful being. I aim to meet a client where they are and understand how they view both themselves and the world. Then can change begin to occur.

Eric Brown is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in Georgia who has been practicing since 2022. He has a B.S. from Georgia State University and an M.S. from Mercer University Clinical Mental Health Program. As a therapist who embodies a multifaceted identity as a Black male with humor, intelligence, emotional intelligence, and articulate communication, Eric can offer a unique and empathetic approach to therapy. Eric includes relatability and understanding, empathy, cultural competence, guidance, and psychoeducation in his practice.

Darrell earned his Master’s degree in Community Mental Health Counseling at Malone University in 2008. While in school, he lead and developed, “How to Counsel the Black Family.” He also trained for seven years in working with individuals that were charged with DUI in Ohio. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia, in 2010. While in Atlanta, he worked with several core agencies and private businesses throughout Georgia. In 2012, he received his certification in Rational Living Therapy, and is a state certified professional counselor supervisor.

A person cannot be truly understood without a consideration of various aspects of their social, familial, temporal, spiritual, economic, and physical environment. It is through this compassionate lens that my work begins. I use EMDR to target traumatic memories and help you process then in a safe way.
