My role is to pose questions individuals' might ask themselves to achieve the solutions that are congruent with their values.

I specialize in counseling teens, tweens, young adults and their families. My clients range in age from nine through adulthood. My clients want a meaningful therapeutic experience with an expert who is engaging and nonjudgmental. For me to effectively help a client, it is imperative that the client trust our relationship in therapy. This is especially true for adolescent clients. My work with a client begins with building a foundation of trust and rapport. I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues in individual counseling.

Therapy is a form of treatment that helps individuals work through emotional or psychological issues, interpersonal conflicts, or behavioral problems. My clinical focus in therapy is to support, educate, and empower my clients to achieve a balance of peace, health, and productivity in their lives. This is achieved through a client-centered, holistic approach utilizing scientifically validated techniques to alter negative behaviors, gain insight, and build healthy coping skills. My experience includes working in college counseling, community mental health, and group practice.

Currently accepting new clients ages 6+ for individual and family therapy- I enjoy working with people who are experiencing challenges with life stressors, anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorders and substance use disorders. Experiencing any of these can leave you feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and disconnected. It can feel impossible to find a way out on your own. Many people find that when they try to reach out for help that they can’t connect with anyone who actually takes the time to listen and understand. I believe that taking a collaborative approach and staying focused on what matters to you is the key.

Through life’s transitions such as school or workplace stress, to relationship and family conflicts life is full of challenges that are sometimes out of our control. The pressure to manage and cope with these stressors can severely impact or be detrimental to ones mental health. Clients experiencing depression can make daily life activities seem unbearable, and it can significantly change how we see things almost as if wearing gloomy specs and disconnected from our environments.
