For me, psychotherapy begins with trust. My approach is collaborative and empathic. I have nine years’ experience in working with children, adolescents, and their families. I love helping children and their families find their self-worth and expressing their true feelings in ways that they can understand one another. I utilize my training and experience in child development studies to help children/adolescents and guardians understand each other in appropriate ways. I keep in mind that each child and family is unique, seeking to understand without judgement.

Sarah has a Master of Social Work and works with individual adults, children, teens, and families. She specializes in working with victims of trauma utilizing the TF-CBT (Trauma- Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Having worked with children and families for over a decade, Sarah believes that all persons have the ability and capacity to grow. Her approach is to provide a safe space for individuals to discover areas they struggle in and formulate a plan to meet those needs. Sarah understands that each person or family is unique and therefore any treatment should reflect this individual uniqueness.
