Adler focuses on the whole person. CBT focuses on re-framing the mind to re-frame behaviors. Existentialism focuses on finding fulfillment and meaning.

Kristi earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. After two decades of her owning her own business, she decided to pursue her passion for working in the field of mental health. She then graduated with her Master of Education in counseling from Augusta University. Taking her life and educational experiences into consideration, she is committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve emotional well-being. Kristi began as an intern at LifeStance and had the opportunity to work with a wide range of diverse clients with challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship issues, and more.

Jeremy is the Associate Clinical Director for LifeStance Health in Augusta, GA. Jeanette Alderman Gilles is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia who has been practicing since 1991. She has a BA in Psychology and an MSW, both from the University of South Carolina. Jeanette uses a client centered approach to assist clients who are struggling with life changes and/or trauma. She focuses on techniques designed to aid in self-exploration and goal setting. Outside of work, Jeanette enjoys traveling, kayaking, reading, attending college football games and spending time with family and friends.

Childhood abuse and neglect, serious illness, combat experiences, and infidelity often have long-lasting effects on our ability to effectively communicate our feelings and needs to loved ones. By strengthening our present attachment bonds and tackling unhelpful thought patterns, we can work together to decrease traumatic stress and establish healing relationships. Healing can be a lifelong journey, but with deliberate small steps, I believe that anyone can find peace and develop more fulfilling relationships with their loved ones.
