I have a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, currently working on a PH.D in Counselor Education and Supervision and use the following integrative theoretical approaches: Adlerian Theory, Cognitive Behavioral, and Existentialism. Adler focuses on the whole person. CBT focuses on re-framing the mind to re-frame behaviors. Existentialism focuses on finding fulfillment and meaning.

In addition to his private practice where he treats child/adolescents/adults, Madison was the Clinical Director at Hope House of Augusta’s Women’s Residential and Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Center from September 11, 2016 to February 9, 2020, where patients received treatment for substance use and mental health disorders. Madison has a Master’s in Psychology and Counseling from Troy Alabama University and is a National Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor in the State of Georgia where he provides clinical supervision for Master's level post-graduates.

Life has a way of throwing many obstacles and there are moments we experience anxiety, depression, grief, and other emotional distress; however, it is important we learn skills that will help us navigate and cope with these times of distress. I can assist you with exploring your options and finding the coping methods that works best for you, so that you are able to manage these feelings effectively. My experience includes work with children, adolescents, and adults with diverse backgrounds and array of concerns. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, EMDR, and Motivational Interviewing.

I am a licensed clinical social worker providing individual psychotherapy for adults (18 and older). I treat people with a variety of presenting complaints including interpersonal issues, identity concerns, self-esteem issues, stressful life transitions, anxiety, low mood, and substance use concerns.

Dee earned her Masters of Science in Applied Clinical Psychology from the University of South Carolina-Aiken. Dee has worked in the mental health field for over 18 years and has experience and training in crisis intervention, stress management, dual diagnoses, behavioral support, family conflict and other issues.

Client's best suited to my specialties and approach are those that are honest, open-minded and willing to do the work needed to bring about healing and change.
