My name is Cheryl and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am originally from California and have lived in Georgia since 2006. I have experience treating a wide range of issues with a diverse population of clients. I am the type of therapist that is willing to be both vulnerable and open, speaking directly and honestly. My extensive work with adolescents and adults has taught me the importance of being genuine and down-to-earth, and thus, I work best with individuals who prefer a straightforward approach.

Many of us stuggle when coping with life events that are particularly difficult or challenging. It is at these times that help is needed from someone who is particularly trained and experienced in working with your area of struggle. I specialize in a variety of areas that include play therapy for children dealing with a variety of issues. For teenagers I offer talk therapy that uses age appropriate playful and expressive tools. I work with parents and families to build skills and strategies needed for growth. I have a particular interest in women's issues of anxiety, depression, abuse and trauma.

Takita Pruitt is a therapist specializing in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, sexual trauma, grief, parenting issues, anger management, attachment, and ADHD. She holds a Master of Social Work from Capella University and is a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Informed. Takita emphasizes trauma-informed care and integrates her Christian faith into her practice, providing a compassionate and supportive environment for clients to achieve healing and personal growth.

Carmelita’s Couch provides a safe, non judgemental space where teens dealing with issues such as anxiety, overthinking, bullying, divorce, loss of a loved one, (and) low self esteem can feel empowered (and) be themselves (by) participating individually and collectively in Individual and Group Life coaching sessions in order to find the Solace, Support and Guidance they need to push past their fears and reach their full potential.

Erica is a Licensed Professional Counselor (GA 011238) and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (GA 4307) serving the greater Athens area. She is a native of Oconee County and the Founding Director of Oconee Counseling Center. She has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and has been providing counseling services since 2013. She specializes in working with adult individuals, couples and families.
