My belief is everyone needs a little help sometimes. Life is stressful and bad things happen to good people. I help by coming along side my clients and help them to develop a more positive mindset through various therapy methods. The most important aspect of therapy is the working relationship between the client and therapist. Through being genuine and building trust, I work to create a safe space that allows my clients to feel comfortable being open and honest. I am also basic trained in EMDR and sand tray therapy. By dealing with this trauma individuals can begin to heal and make positive changes.

Life is not always what we want or expect it to be, there are times when one's path is unclear and finding one's way becomes quiet difficult. However, if you keep on doing what you've always done, you will keep on getting what you have always gotten. Born from my own life is a connection I feel with caregivers and loved ones of individuals with psychotic disorders; and those who are living with a severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, depression, and bipolar disorder themselves. I believe that while therapeutic work often covers some of the most difficult issues the human experience has to offer, it is crucial to provide an atmosphere that is experienced as positive towards healing. Often times, growth and healing seem overwhelming, but there is beauty to be found in it. I am always drawn to the line in a poem by Rumi that states, "Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there." It is a summation of what therapy should be. Healing and growth are best found in places beyond judgement. It is truly an honor when you have the opportunity to meet someone in this space.
