I am a counselor who specializes in helping clients achieve their goals. I founded New Sun Mental Health Center, Inc., in 2008. I am bilingual, English-Spanish. I am a registered Clinical Evaluator and Treatment Provider by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD). I hold a Master of Arts in Community Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy program from Argosy University in Atlanta. I received a B.A. in Psychology from Pontificia Bolivariana University in Colombia. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a License Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Georgia. I also have a Master Certified Addiction Counselor (MAC) and a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-II).

Pam Flatow was born and raised in New York. She graduated Cum Laude from Boston University with a BA and received her Masters in Social Work from Hunter College. She has worked in medical and psychiatric settings, inpatient and outpatient, and was Director of Social Services at a psychiatric hospital in Florida. Pam has many years of experience in her private practice, working with both adolescents and adults utilizing an eclectic range of therapeutic modalities. She is warm and caring and this comes across to her clients. She is the mother of three grown children and had a long term marriage until her husband passed away in 2015.

I also enjoy working with adults dealing with life transitions and helping them improve their moods and perspectives on life.
