Hello! I’m an Associate Professional Counselor, at Sea Glass Therapy private practice in Newnan, GA. In my work with clients, I employ a holistic (mind/body/spirit) integrative theoretical practice, utilizing person-centered, CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing to bring out the qualities needed to help the client reach their desired goals. Therapy is a collaborative journey, one which I will walk alongside each client as they bridge the gap between who they are now and who they hope to be. My hope is to guide clients through and into healing, as they navigate life and its various transitions and challenges.

Through an objective and supportive relationship, which is often called the therapy alliance, I specialize in helping clients reach their short-term and/or long-term personal goals. I have a broad range of experience treating conditions, solving problems, and coping with circumstances that influence the emotional and cognitive functioning of adults of all ages and gender. I am a primarily a person-centered therapist with advanced training and expertise in treating conditions such as trauma, anxiety, and depression with evidence-based interventions such as cognitive processing therapy (CPT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and eye-movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR).

I knew I was called to be a psychotherapist when I was 10. How else was I going to fix my life after my parents damaged it :-) After growing up in foster care, I spent decades feeling lost & helpless. At 37, I finally learned how to heal myself. I went on to attain my PhD, a Hypnotherapy degree, authored books & courses. My clinical training includes working in substance abuse facilities, a psychiatric hospital, w/ military & foster children, all of which I've loved.
