As a counselor with Clinical Mental Health training from Richmont Graduate University, I specialize in guiding teens and young adults through their unique challenges. For teens, I address anxiety stemming from social, school, and family dynamics, providing the necessary support to navigate these changes. For young adults, I assist in the transition from college to career, including complexities in dating, family, and work, offering a safe space to explore self-identity and achieve life goals.

"I believe that empowerment is the key to success." I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I have worked in the addictions field for over six years. I also work with children and families who struggle with traumas, domestic violence, behavioral, emotional and communication issues. I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) clinical evaluator and treatment provider approved by the Department of Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD). I can perform alcohol and drug clinical evaluations for pretrial, DUI convictions and license reinstatement.

I specialize in helping women who have experienced trauma, anxiety, maternal/postpartum mental health concerns, or life transitions. My approach stems from the belief that we are all resilient - innately able to become successful and happy again after distressing things happen. I tailor treatment to your specific goals by utilizing EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness among other evidence-based methods. Helping people who have experienced difficult life events restore balance, meaning, and joy is my passion. It is never too late to heal from impactful life experiences and promote growth towards present goals.

It takes courage to ask for help. Every person big or small deserves to be supported and championed as they continue to work to grow. Parents often feel overwhelmed in knowing how to best provide support for those they love most: their children. Children are innately different from adults as they develop into their true selves.
