She specializes in treating adult clients who are suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, family conflict, anger issues, grief, divorce, life transitions, women's issues, and more. Mary completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology from the University of Detroit. She then received her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University where she graduated with honors.

All of us have had many transitions throughout our lifetime. These transitions can be experienced as positive, neutral or negative. It is extremely overwhelming and discouraging as a adoptee parents to feel lost and unable to help your child/teen, especially when you tried everything in your parenting tool box to help your child/teen to deal with big emotions, thoughts, life hardships. Caring after a minor that has experience family changes/disruption requires a lot of resources and ongoing support. I will provided you with all the resources I know to develop new skills that facilitate understanding, solutions and meaningful connections in your family.

We will talk about your fears about treatment, any co-occurring conditions that contribute to your substance use, and how to take control of your own recovery process.

Apryl is a compassion-centered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern who is committed to aiding couples, families and individuals in their pursuit of peace, joy, and purpose. Her interests encompass guiding couples through amicable separations, nurturing strong co-parenting relationships, gentle parenting and assisting couples in creating a harmonious and romantic balance within their marital dynamics. Apryl is also passionate about providing support to families and individuals challenged by chronic illness, in particular Type 1 Diabetes.

I have provided pastoral care to troubled church members and to troubled youth in group homes and in jail cell blocks for more that ten years. I work with families and children who's lives revolve around the issues of one or more family members struggles with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I have provided group experiences for traumatized and delinquent youth. If I can help, I will help.
