That is why I provide an ease about coming to therapy and attempt to make my clients feel comfortable beginning this process. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults helping them get through difficult transitions in their lives. I do a lot of work challenging people to explore their aggression, self-harming behaviors, drugs and alcohol use, suicidal ideations, depression and anxiety. I also enjoy working with adults dealing with life transitions and helping them improve their moods and perspectives on life.

Being a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) can leave us feeling overwhelmed and as if we don’t fit in. If you are someone who thinks and feels deeply, finds yourself feeling overstimulated by loud noises, crowds, and more, you may be an HSP. You may long for a quiet, dimly lit room during times when your life is especially hectic. Perhaps you can walk into a room and recognize the moods and emotions of others. Others may have told you to be less sensitive, as if that were an easy task. If you are also High Sensation Seeking (HSS), you may also want novelty and excitement. Trying to balance the two can leave you burned out and frustrated.

I work with children to adults struggling with a range of mental health diagnoses, including, depression (with or without suicidal ideation), anxiety, ADHD, Bi-Polar Disorder, neurological disorders, gender dysphoria, etc. Together, with your commitment to treatment and a solid therapeutic relationship, we can identify your goals and utilize your personal strengths to build a realistic treatment plan to reach your goals and be your best self.

I am trained in cognitive behavioral techniques, and I like to use creative interventions in addition to open dialogues in session to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of my clients.
