I received a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Furman University in 2009 and a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Georgia State in 2011. I became a counselor to assist people in finding and using their voices; I'm motivated to help others feel seen and heard.

I received my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. I am a licensed professional counselor and Registered Play Therapist (RPT) working with children and their families. I have provided support to children and families experiencing a host of needs, including providing support to children and families involved in foster care. I have worked as a school-based counselor providing insight to school administrative staff and teachers with regards to the mental health needs and overall well-being of their students. I desire and strive to continuously meet the needs of children and their families.

I believe that each individual is unique and singular, possessing intrinsic personal worth and dignity, who is deserving of unconditional positive regard and respect.
