Tamara is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who entered the field because she enjoys helping individuals make positive growth and change during the therapeutic process. She wants everyone to know that they aren't alone in how they feel. Tamara is a native New Yorker and fluent in Spanish. Tamara earned her BS in Human Services at Shorter University, Rome, GA, and her MA in Counseling at Argosy University, Atlanta, GA. During her career, Tamara has worked with different demographics including children and youth who are dealing with emotions and behavior concerns, as well as adults and Seniors.

Cecilla studied and graduated in psychology in her native country of Peru. After immigrating to the USA, she has earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She has completed AMO academy's required training and evaluation and was awarded the title of Master Hypnotherapist certification. Currently, Cecilla is pursuing her master's degree in Clinical Psychology. She believes in focusing on guiding the client to find the root cause of the mental difficulties and working together to meet desired goals.

I provide family interventions that establish emotional support, education, and guidance for a variety of concerns confronted by today's families. Examples of problems encountered by families include: family planning, adoption, parenting skills, blended family issues, step-parenting, health related problems, and problems of mental health. Common family goals are: to communicate more effectively and meaningfully, to guide the family through traumatic experiences, to resolve problems and conflicts, to create a more positive family environment.

I'm passionate about working collaboratively with all of my clients, especially: clients of all ages with autoimmune, other chronic or potential life-limiting illness; teens/college students and parents with concerns related to academic and/or behavioral issues and in strengthening relationships; clients with mood, anxiety and addiction issues; clients with grief and loss issues and clients contemplating separation and/or divorce.
