Deborah Nantz is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) and nationally-Certified Counselor (NCC)with over 5 years of experience in the mental health field. She works with children, teens, adults, and seniors who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, autism, ADHD, LGBTQIA+ issues, bipolar disorder, and women's issues. Deborah has a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of West Georgia where she served as the president of Chi Sigma Iota, a counseling honor society. She also taught college students about suicide prevention and intervention as a member of PREVENTatUWG.

My goal is to help guide my clients to where they need/want to be despite whether or not they are currently on that path. As a counselor, I do not wear the "expert cap", because this is your life, your experiences, and your concerns. You are the expert on your life! I am here to provide an unbiased, safe place for you to talk to through (and live through) your experiences. All clients are treated equally and will be given the same unconditional positive regard. Throughout my career I’ve worked with individuals across various populations providing mental health counseling, career counseling, mentor-ship, and life coaching services. I have worked in a variety of settings to include residential group homes, outpatient mental health, inpatient mental health, and community based counseling. I specialize in working with clients coping with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, anger management, trauma, and individuals of the LGBT community who are seeking a safe space. I also have experience working with Veterans and Active Duty Serviceman.

I believe one of the bravest things a person can do, is to begin to understand their strength. When entering the therapy room with me, the expectation is that you are the expert of your life. It is not my job to tell you what to do but rather to assist you in discovering it on your own. I feel as if I didn’t choose to be a therapist, but rather this job chose me. My life experiences have brought me to the point in my life to be able to assist, support, and uplift my clients through whatever has brought them to this point in theirs.

Andrea Toney is an Associate Professional Counselor with 5 years of experience in the mental health field. She is passionate about working with adolescents, teens, and adults to address their challenges in a safe and comfortable space. Andrea specializes in anxiety depression, trauma, anger management, relationship issues, and life transitions. She sees individuals, couples, and families, and sometimes works with groups. Her ideal client is someone who is motivated for change and committed to the therapeutic process, exploring their thoughts and emotions, gaining insight into their patterns of behavior, and developing coping skills.

I received my Bachelor's in Sociology from the University of West Georgia and Master's in Social Work from Clark Atlanta University. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
