In addition to substance use disorders, many also have family discord, loss of employment, housing and hope. Their goals are to gain coping skills, relapse prevention education, stress and anger management management to deal with past unresolved issues that includes and not limited to PTSD, child abuse abuse and neglect, life stressors, and to learn how to develop and sty connected to a supportive network while becoming productive in all areas of their lives.

ART is unique because the ART Therapist guides the client to replace the negative images in the mind that cause the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress with positive images of the client’s choosing. Once the negative images have been replaced by positive ones, the triggers will be gone.
