I view my role in the therapeutic relationship as the coach. I am here to coach you through life's challenges and problems as well as celebrate along with you in your accomplishments and victories. I offer guidance and support in addition to knowledge, experience, skill and a listening ear. I utilize a variety of treatment modalities which include DBT, CBT, solution focused, and family systems.

I am committed to working with individuals to help them achieve their goals and therefore individualize treatment to meet each client's unique needs. I attempt to build upon strengths to instill hope and bring about change. I assist individuals to find meaning in the midst of life's challenges. I believe that with hard work and persistence, change is possible. My ideal client would include individuals seeking assistance for addictions, depression, anxiety disorders, stress management, trauma, self-esteem, anger management, couples counseling, family counseling, and integrating spiritual issues in counseling.

I have been in the mental health field for over 25 years and a licensed professional counselor for 9 years. I believe a person has the answers to whatever it is that concerns them about themselves, but they may not have identified the question. Once the question or the why has been identified a person begins adapting to resolve it. I use tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness exercises to assist my clients in living an intentional life.

I am a practical, interactive therapist. My treatment approach incorporates insight, humor, and compassion for clients as they work to uncover and utilize their own unique resources, strengths, and abilities. Using a strengths-based perspective, I employ Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and client-centered methodologies uniquely tailored to each client's goals and needs. Rachel Willis is a counselor, who has been practicing since 2017. She graduated in 2016 with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. Rachel takes a client-centered approach to therapy. She believes not only is each person unique, but their experience with an issue is unique. Her main areas of focus include anxiety, life transitions, and stress. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and traveling. She occasionally challenges herself to expand her hobbies with things like beekeeping and golf.

Sareena is an LPC who believes in sitting across people, not diagnoses. Sessions often focus on getting your needs met, assertiveness training, and learning new coping strategies with everyday stressors. In addition to helping others, Sareena practices Brazilian jiu-jitsu and playing guitar.

At times, it can be difficult to admit to ourselves when we are in need of help. It can be even more difficult to admit this to someone else. Counseling, however, creates a safe space to share struggles, fears, feelings, experiences, and more. Counseling can provide peace of mind in good times or bad. As a counselor it is my goal to provide you with a space that is warm and welcoming, and one which you can come as you are!
