Healing cannot truly begin until we are ready to sit down, pull off the bandages, and clean out our old wounds. This is just as true of our mental and emotional wounds as it is of our physical wounds. If what you’ve tried hasn’t been working, then it’s time to step out of your comfort zone and try something new. While I tend to work primarily from a cognitive-behavioral approach, I also believe that therapy is unique to each client and will pull from various other therapeutic perspectives in order to provide the best care possible to each client.
