West Georgia Counseling & Assessment Services has been servicing families through the DFCS since 2000. As of 2021, our practice also services individuals and families with private insurance, as a self pay client, individual, marital & family therapy sessions. We proudly serve our military veterans and their families as well as all members of our community. Our agency is composed of male and female, highly credentialed, diverse, and experienced staff of LPC's, APC's, Master level counselors, parent aids, and other staff.

As a child who experienced parents within the prison system, single parenting, divorce, and living in a low socio-economic status, I have much personal experience with dealing with obstacles life has thrown at me. With both life experiences and years of substance abuse counseling, relating to my clients with empathy and sympathy comes naturally.

I have a passion for working with those who need answers and guidance to navigate through life issues. I join with my clients and utilize known therapeutic methods to help them create more fulfilled lives. As a therapist, I will work with you to help uncover your true potential, and assist you in creating the life you desire. As a counselor I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who have suffered traumatic experiences. I also specialize in stress management, and secondary traumatic stress. I am also a Certified Anger Management Specialist.
