Hello! I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience. As an Atlanta native, I have a vast set of experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds and issues. I’ve provided substance abuse counseling to federal inmates, trauma and PTSD therapy to combat veterans, and a variety of therapies for individuals, families, and couples. I pull from Cognitive Behavioral, Experiential, Motivational interviewing, and Solution Focused therapy modalities. Kimbro Burnett counseling is evolving. I am moving to a different format. I am offering EMDR and or Internal Family Systems Processing in 6 to 8 week intensives in my office with sessions in between that will be online. The next intensive will start August 5th and run for 6 weeks. The focus is past traumas, childhood trauma (which we all have some) and emotional and physical trauma in adulthood, and uncovering what is holding you back now. Perhaps you realize you have strategies that you keep using but recognize are not helpful. You have tried everything else and want a fresh approach. My Fee is 180 for 1.5 hr.
