I work with people of all ages and ethnic groups. My overall goal is to aid you in becoming the best version of yourself. I work to help empower you to know your own strengths. Each client is treated as an individual and treatment is individualized. I have a passion for working with moms and families dealing with perinatal mental health issue and individuals looking to process complex trauma. Additionally, I work with adults and adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, major life changes, and addiction.

"No one understands what I'm going through!" Do you feel this way? Many times, when we experience crisis or stress, it is very normal to feel like no one understands. My goal is to serve those who struggle with Trauma, Personality Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, and other Emotional Disorders. I believe trauma whether one time incident or ongoing incidents can be the root cause to other mental health issues. That is why my treatment plans are unique to each individual and their specific issues and circumstances. My philosophy is that anyone can overcome anything, with the right help.

I have a Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling, and for 20+ years, I have worked in various social service sectors. I specialize in providing adults with individual therapy to address self-esteem, anxiety, low moods, and manage stress/embrace healthy coping strategies to deal with life transitions, women's issues, educator's self-care, work/life balance, life fulfillment/satisfaction, boundary setting, fertility challenges, and pre/post-cosmetic surgical procedures.

I really enjoy helping individuals navigate life by giving them a safe outlet to develop skills and learn more about themselves. I work with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, big life changes, and relationship difficulties that want to work toward learning the different ways to best manage the ups and downs in life. I am under the clinical supervision of Amy Robbins and clinical direction of Christopher Bruton.

It can be so hard to ask for help sometimes and I am here when you are ready. Over the past eight years, I have worked collaboratively with those who are dealing with mental health and/or substance use concerns. Most recently, my work has been focused around people in recovery, those working through life transitions (including divorce and parenthood), women's issues, and those involved with the criminal justice system. I partner with several community resources to help provide services to those who are typically underserved. I am an ally to the LGBTIQ+ community.

To me, the best thing about seeing a therapist is that you are guranteed a caring listener who is going to accept you without judgement. Many people lack this kind of support in thier life. Everytime I sit down with a new client and am granted the privilage of hearing thier story, I feel honored. I know it can be scary and difficult to open up to somone and I appreciate that I am being invited into the lives of my clients. My goal is to be an advocate, a sounding board and a cheerleader for every person that I see.
