Hello! I am excited about the opportunity to join you on your journey to wellness. Life circumstances and experiences can be really hard to deal with and sometimes tough times can cause you to feel stuck or like you are on a constant roller coaster. My purpose is to help you process life experiences in order to create new goals or achieve old ones- whether it be better life balance, healthier relationships, more confidence dealing with difficult child/teen behaviors, or just loving yourself. I enjoy working with children and families; especially children and adults struggling to manage ADHD, Grief, and trauma. I am confident that my skills and my passion for empowering and healing people directly impact the positive results I have witnessed with the clients. I worked in several school systems, community organizations, state human resource agencies, and hospital environments. I have helped those separated from their families, grieving, and experiencing educational/behavioral problems. My specialty is ADHD, Trauma, Grief, Special needs, and educational difficulties.

I have spent my career working with a diverse population including LGBTQIA+ and clients with co-occurring issues dealing with mental health and/or substance abuse. My approach to therapy is Solution Focused using a matrix theoretical framework to Individualize care for each client. I am a firm believer that there is an "Individualized Solution" to every problem, it takes Commitment and Insight to discover the solutions to what ails you. The goal of therapy is to assist you to find your authentic self and to improve your relationships with self and others.

Terry Samuels earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in December 1994 from Armstrong Atlantic University. Terry obtained his Master of Public Administration degree in December 1996 from Georgia State University. Terry obtained his Master of Professional Counseling degree in December 2015 from Grand Canyon University. Terry completed a 10-month internship at Intown Psychological Associates and completed the hours required for his associate license. Terry is a fully licensed therapist in the state of Georgia (LPC011391). Terry obtained his doctorate in psychology from Grand Canyon University in November of 2023.
