Our psycho-educational assessments are highly detailed and identify any underlying impairments affecting school performance.

I have provided counseling services in several different settings since 1996. I began my career as an Elementary School Counselor, I have worked as a Family Counselor in an addictions program, and as a Child and Adolescent Counselor in a community mental health center. I took some time off in order to be with my two children full-time. After my children entered school, I decided to resume my professional career and went into private practice.

Dr. Samaan brings over 30 years of experience into each counseling session. He has deep expertise and specializations that came from a history of credentialed education; Church Pastoral staff, Psychiatric hospital training and employment, Psychiatric Aid, Certified Addictions Professional (CAP) Instructor, Police Chaplaincy, and specialized certifications in Family Therapy, Marriage Therapy, Adolescent Therapy, Crisis & Abuse Therapy, Sexual & Sex Abuse Therapy, and Substance Abuse & Addiction Therapy.

Si se puede! I am a bilingual English/Spanish psychotherapist working in the mental health field for the past 20 years. I provide therapy to children, adolescents and adults. I have worked in Outpatient clinics as well provided therapy in-home, school and other community settings. Some of the clients that I work with come with trauma, anxiety or depression. I also see many children experiencing attention difficulties, hyperactivity, impulsivity, anger, behavior or communication difficulties.

I am a welcoming, down-to-earth and compassionate therapist who enjoys working with children (2+), adolescents and young adults struggling with mental health and general life issues. My goal is to help you or your loved one to reach their fullest potential. With each individual, I strive to provide an inviting, calm and trusting environment to encourage positive change and growth. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Auburn University (War Eagle!).

I have worked and served in different communities around Georgia in the past 12 years. I am not a laid back clinician and I am active. I interact and pick on my clients a lot. I will confront you! My method of counseling is experiential and is client focused. I don't give advice but if I feel anything about your life, I will tell you for sure. I don't hide myself behind my psychotherapy methods. I see young children for play therapy, couples, and adults and teens with various issues. I am a clinical supervisor and provide group supervision for freshly graduates on Thursdays at 12:30 pm.

Her clients learn how to have more intimate relationships and reconnect with their own essential wholeness during this journey. She accomplishes this by compassionately collaborating with the client with a straight-forward but light-hearted approach.
