I've been blessed with a clarity of vision and have deeply enjoyed my life's work, so often counseling doesn't feel like work to me, as much as me serving my highest purpose to help others. I began working with clients in 2006. Since then I have worked with a wide variety of clients from at-risk children and families, federal and state prisoners, and most recently military service members and families.

I am a psychotherapist providing services to individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind, late deafened, and cochlear implant users across several states, including Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia, New York, Maine, Texas, and Maryland. My therapeutic approach is systemic, collaborative, and strength-based while mindful of cultural, ethnic, and economic concerns. I utilize an eclectic approach that combines psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help individuals leverage their support system, community resources, mindfulness, and newly acquired skills to achieve the life they envision.

Driven by a passion to support others and a keen fascination with the human mind, I embarked on a journey to become a therapist.

I am licensed in Georgia with 16 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, depression, trauma and anxiety, coping with addictions, relationship issues, & family conflicts. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. As a therapist, I have been able to help adolescences who are struggling with academic-related stress, bullying, peer pressure, family issues, past traumas, parenting styles, and other problems that all contribute to a person's mental health or overall wellbeing.

I have been a clinical therapist since 2010. I have my Masters of Social Work from UNCW. I have worked in many areas of social work and therapy including with families and children, adults, and various areas of mental health. I welcome all people including those that may sometimes feel discriminated against due to age, gender, ethnicity, or sexuality. My goal is to help others better understand themselves, and thus make the best decisions for their own happiness. I treat each client as an individual with unique needs.

I graduated from Brenau University with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and have been working in the field for almost a decade. I work with adults struggling with perinatal/postpartum issues, anxiety, and trauma.

Over the course of my career, I have worked with various populations of teen and adult clients in the mental health field. I can honestly say that I love what I do and have always found a personalized way to connect with each client.
