I'm Rhea Kisling, and I've dedicated over two decades to the behavioral health sector. It feels like only yesterday when I began assisting families and children, later transitioning to focus on adults. My drive stems from a profound passion for aiding individuals in improving their circumstances. Irrespective of our diverse backgrounds, educations, or life journeys, we all yearn for fulfillment, love, and a sense of achievement or happiness.

I specialize in helping individuals, couples and families achieve a better state of emotional wellness and quality of life for themselves and with others. I also strive to create a greater sense of awareness, purpose and progress in people to help foster a more satisfying life by managing depression, anxiety and other life stressors and ills. My approach is collaborative and empowering, and treatment is specifically tailored to each person's needs.

Often I work with teens, college students or adults who are experiencing depression, social anxiety, transition, or grief. My clients are often isolated and lacking strong social connections, either by choice or because they feel rejected. For my clients, I try to center my work around logic, common sense and a supportive, trusting relationship. Many people find relief in just being able to tell someone what they're thinking without judgement.

Whatever circumstances you are coming from, I am here to validate your experience with non-judgmental support. I work with adolescents and adults who struggle with many different issues, including relationship problems, low self-esteem, adjustment difficulties, and identity exploration. I began my career as a therapist at a counseling center where clients focused on recovery from sexual abuse, which led me to develop a passion for helping clients heal from traumatic experiences.

The ideal client is an adolescent or adult client dealing with the effects of ADHD, "failure to launch" issues, anxiety, life transition difficulties, relationship troubles, mood disorders, learning problems, decision making difficulties, parenting concerns, grief and trauma or career decisions.

Life brings challenges that can be helped through obtaining caring and confidential support. As a compassionate and open-minded therapist, I strive to create a trusting and collaborative environment where clients can express themselves honestly without fear of judgment or rejection. My approach is to empower clients to have the confidence to make better life decisions for themselves and their families. I support clients as they process trauma, and help guide them towards recognizing and adjusting destructive life patterns that are interfering with their overall well-being. As a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and National Certified Counselor, I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with mental health concerns impacted by disabilities and chronic health conditions.
