She earned her Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in African American Studies from the University of Memphis, followed by a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Over the last eight years, Jaketa has dedicated her expertise to community-based mental health, with a particular focus on telehealth therapy for the past four years. Throughout her professional journey, she has worked with diverse populations, serving individuals from various races and ethnicities.
