Personal difficulties that cannot not easily be dealt with on our own are a common problem that can be resolved with help of an experienced therapist. Issues related to trauma, early life experiences, troubled relationships, self esteem, anxiety and depression can be dealt with in a safe and discreet manner. The roots of many client issues stem from experiences suppressed into the unconscious mind. The 'talking cure' facilitates the release of deeply supressed feelings into the client's consciousness and understanding. The resulting new-found knowledge enables the client to live a more productive and happier life.
I am extensively trained in several modalities, including clinical social work, psychanalytic psychotherapy and psychology. I apply my knowledge selectively to each client's special circumstances. I have been published in a professional journal and have practiced individual, couple and family therapy for over thirty years.
