I take a non-judgmental and affirming approach to therapy. I believe self-compassion and empathy can significantly impact those with OCD, uplifting them on their healing journey. At NOCD, my team and I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for people with OCD. Our deep understanding of its nuances enables us to properly diagnose and treat it. Additionally, we have received intensive training in Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP)—the gold standard treatment for OCD.
When you start with NOCD, you’ll either work with me or be paired with one of my colleagues based on your preferences. We’ll take the time to get to know you and create a treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. Plus, we offer support between sessions through direct messaging and a community of peers with OCD, ensuring you never feel alone.
I’m genuinely excited to work with you. Please remember, your thoughts are not your identity—they're just a normal bodily reaction, like getting the hiccups. You can't control what thoughts pop into your head, and there's no right or wrong answer in therapy.
