As a licensed psychotherapist for over 20 years I have worked with a variety of populations in different settings. I have extensive experience in marital counseling, and have worked with many people struggling with anxiety, depression, anger and other issues. What my experience has taught me is that people's problems are often multifaceted and complex, and that a holistic approach is most likely to produce the best results. My approach is grounded in the latest research, and will address the environmental, spiritual and psychological roots of your problem.
After completing my studies at New York University, I went to New Brunswick Theological Seminary and Saint John's University to develop my theological foundation. This forms the basis of my problem-solving approach which though informed by traditional approaches is guided by Christian principles.
In addition to being a licensed clinical social worker, I am also a registered nurse. In this capacity I worked with people dealing with chronic medical diagnosis and have also worked in hospice (end of life) care. These experiences have equipped me with a broad range of problem-solving approaches tailored uniquely toward each individual.
